why we will save you.

Great design is the result of thoughtful planning and we LOVE to plan. During the design stage of your project we create beautiful state of the art 2&3D design visuals, showing you how every hard selection, furniture piece and decorating product could look in your space. This allows you to see how everything will come together and gives you the opportunity to make small changes to the design, before moving into the ordering stage of your project - ultimately providing you with unwavering confidence in the end vision, before spending a single dollar on products.

From there we move into the ordering and install phase of your project, where we can offer you generous industry discounts on almost all of the products we recommend.

It’s safe to say that this process can save you hours of time, hundreds of dollars (in many cases thousands), often outweighing the initial design investment and leaving you with a space you will love for years to come.

Tess Beagley - Interior Decorator & Designer

Tess from Minted Interiors

a word from our founder.

From humble beginnings in 2014, we have managed to launch and grow Minted Interiors into a small but mighty team of designers, servicing clients based all over Australia, with:

Between having three babies, breastfeeding, sleepless nights and chasing toddlers, my role has transformed from solo designer (and business manager of all things!) into Creative Director & Head Designer. I now have a small incredible team supporting me on design projects, which leaves me to focus on providing creative direction, overseeing all of the design work going to our clients and actively managing all Marketing & Communications, something I see as important to creating my ultimate Minted Interiors vision.

As many of our clients and followers know, juggling motherhood with small business can be tough – it’s a full time, all encompassing, relentless job that brings challenges and plenty of rewards along the way. I’ve always shared my day-to-day juggle on our @minted_interiors social feeds and feel so thankful that we have managed to attract an army of 35,000+ interior loving, lifestyle savvy followers, plenty of whom are wrestling with their own mum-business juggle. Now our feeds are a place for like minded women to connect, share a sense of community, solidarity and support and to be inspired by some pretty incredible interior content, including our current and past projects.

Not the typical start to an interiors career, I worked in the world of PR for a decade after finishing a Mass Communications degree, majoring in Public Relations and Journalism, in London and Perth. I enjoyed my work but never felt creatively fulfilled, so like so many others - when the time came to take a chance on my own business venture - I used my corporate skills, combined with my creative passion to launch and grow Minted Interiors.

Great interiors should reflect and benefit your lifestyle, giving you a sanctuary from the world - a place to escape, connect with your family, entertain friends with ease and reenergise, before facing the challenges of the wider world again the next day. For so many Australians indoor-outdoor living, a love of natural light and quality materials, along with a laid back approachable style is an inherent part of this - something I’m passionate about consistently achieving in each of our projects.

It has always been important to me for Minted to have a down-to-earth approach with our clients and social following. This is reflected in our relaxed retreat style interiors - quality, integrity and a personal service, has always been my number one priority in everything we do. I’m proud to say that this approach won me an ‘Inspiring Rare Birds’ business scholarship, connecting me with a mentoring community of other highly successful female entrepreneurs Australia wide. I now have the opportunity to share these experiences with up and coming Designers, via our Mentoring Program.

If you’re not already following along on our social feeds please come and join us! It is beautiful there. AND if you’re thinking about an interior update, reno, new build, or would just like a great price on a quality furniture piece - get in touch - we would love to hear more about your project.
