Decorating your home can be an overwhelming and daunting process, especially if you are time poor. Whether you are looking to make over a single room, or want design and styling help with your entire home, we can make your vision come to life. Our service gives you one-on-one specialised advice, specific to your personal style, lifestyle and project and allows you to choose the level of engagement - ultimately taking the hassle out of designing and re decorating. You can see examples of my work in our portfolio.
Our objective is to deliver one-of-a-kind magazine worthy spaces, capturing your personal style and enhancing your lifestyle.
HOW IT WORKS..
1. Briefing Consultation
During our initial consult, we will ask questions about your preferred style and listen to your ideas for the space. This consult can be completed in person at your home, or over the phone depending on your location and what works for you. We love seeing any inspiration images you’ve collected and if it’s a phone consult, photos of your space. During this stage we also collect as much information about your brief as possible including photos on site, floor plans, initial measurements, as well as documenting any personal style and functionality requests and limitations that need to be considered.
After our briefing consult, we put together our recommendations for the best way to approach your project. If you agree to go ahead, we then get started on a tailored and personalised interior decorating plan for your home, including digital design concepts.
2. Design Plan
Using your style brief, I will work on a design plan, carefully integrating your preferences into a contemporary digital design concept, bringing together a collection of pieces that perfectly suit your brief. This can include 2&3D digital room concepts with recommended furniture and décor items, paint colours and room fixtures and finishes, along with sources.
3. Design Development
After our first meeting the 3D perspective concepts are presented to you. At this stage you will have an opportunity to discuss the concepts with your family and provide comment and amendment requests if required. After final adjustments are made, the completed visual design concepts are yours to keep, acting as an invaluable tool to show you exactly what the room will look like before you commit to purchasing a single item, while also giving you/your trade team a detailed plan to work from.
4. Design Installation
After confirming your design, we get started on the project installation phase. I offer a full shopping service – taking care of ordering all of your furniture + décor for you. This is where I tap into our extensive furniture supplier network to secure great discounts on your recommended furniture order. I can also work with you to project manage trades if required and take care of the final installation and styling to complete the project. Throughout the process I will be focussed on meeting your preferred timeframe and budget. You can can engage my service as much or as little as you like, depending on your interior design project requirements and budget.
For local Kitchen, Laundry and Bathroom projects I can collaborate with and brief your chosen trades, based on the agreed design concepts. From there I hand over to your trades for final installation management. I am happy to make recommendations on trades to use, however I don’t take responsibility for overall project management, trade workmanship or installation delays.
5. Design Completion
At completion of your project, we can come back to complete a final styling of your space.
Our ultimate goal is to leave you with a magazine worthy space/home, perfectly suited to your lifestyle, professionally styled and somewhere you love to be. From time to time our projects end up in magazines, which is a testament to the professional service and finish we offer. After your room/home is complete, I am always available to answer further styling questions and offer support whenever required.
We only offer a very limited number of bookings per year and spaces fill quickly, so early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
